If you haven’t heard by now, this news might make your week. Sports Authority, one of America’s largest sporting goods retailers will close its doors for good. In March of this year, Sports Authority filed for bankruptcy. News broke today that Sports Authority, will be closing all of their 463 stores, including all of the stores located in Chicago.

As a consumer, this happens to be good news, as Sports Authority merchandise can be particularly expensive.
